The San Francisco Hipster & Dot Com Homesteader War
Bay Area Based comedy troupe “Killing My Lobster” knock it out of the park. It may be a lot funnier if you have lived in SF within the last few years, but if you know hipsters and their coffee this will be worthy of a laugh or two.

Ken Block is Back!
Ken Block, who is a WRC driver, skateboarder, snowboard and co-founder and CBO (Chief Brand Officer) of DC Shoes; just put out a new video. In this vid he is doing another redonkulous Gymkhana rally. Gymkhana is:
Is an automotive sport that takes place in a parking lot, an abandoned airport, an international shipping port or an epic 86-year old European track that requires drivers to skillfully maneuver the cars around a series of cones, slaloms, turns, figure eights and possibly a 51-degree bank using extreme acceleration, braking and drifting.
Similar to “autocross”, Gymkhana courses are often complex, and memorizing the course is a significant part of this type of motorsport.
As always… watch this thing fullscreen at 1080p. It is damn impressive…

The de-evolution continues…
I saw this over on Bruce Sterling’s Wired blog the other day. Truly stunning work. It’s the kind of art, vision and talent that just really resonates with you. It also reminded me of Scott Pilgrim, which I also love.
OH… and watch it in HD, seriously.

Burn Baby Burn!
I heard about Minecraft a few days ago due to a Penny Arcade Comic. Then I saw this video… very, very funny tutorial on how not to build a custom house in the game.

Bacon: The New Modeling Clay

It seems that bacon is being formed and then baked (or fried) into more complex and radical food delivery systems. The next evolution of bacon science appears to be the Baco. A bacon based tortilla replacement. I am both horrified and made hungry by this newest step in evolution in food sciences.

There is something addictive…
… about the website “Three Frames“. Niki called it an:
extremely extremely distilled version of ytmnd
which is a good description. I walked through the archive in a few minutes, subscribed to the RSS on a whim expecting to throw it away after a few days and yet, I get excited when a new one comes in. Odd. Anyway, I love it and had to share.

Prank Wars: part 7
I haven’t really been following the internet meme “Prank Wars” by a few of the members over at College Humor, but I recall catching bits and pieces of the pranks. Here is the most recent one pulled on Amir. After seeing the last one Amir pulled I have no sympathy for him and feel this was well deserved. Pretty damn impressive setup if you ask me…
The only way this is going to end is with one of the pranks ending in death, I think.
